DESCRIPTION
Accucold's Performance Plus ultra low freezers are purpose-built for the long-term storage and reliable protection of high value, temperature-sensitive products and biological materials. Model AULT780DC is an ENERGY STAR certified ultra low temperature freezer designed for laboratories, life science and pharmaceutical research facilities, and other institutional settings. This upright unit can operate between -86º and -40ºC and has been tested to maintain temperature within 3.1ºC of the set point. Our Dual Shield system features two powerful redundant compressors, ensuring stored items can stay at -80ºC temperatures in the event of one compressor failure. The interior features two insulated inner doors for an added layer of protection from ambient air. VIP vacuum insulation improves capacity and ensures temperature stability. Our powerful compressors have accelerated temperature pulldown to reach the set point in 185 minutes and quickly recover from door openings. This unit includes an advanced microprocessor digital control panel with a 10" HD touchscreen located on the door. This provides fast viewing of the current and high/low temperatures, as well as quick navigation to view temperature records, data curves, alarm history, door openings, message board, inventory records, and user activity. Temperature readings can be logged to a USB device, recording every 5 minutes and saving data for up to 10 years. Audible and visual alarms alert the user of interior or ambient temperature swings, open door warnings, various equipment sensor alerts, and power outages. Three access ports are included to accept additional monitoring equipment as needed. The rear includes remote contacts. This model offers 27.5 cu.ft. of storage. The stainless steel interior includes three adjustable steel shelves. The interior can hold up to 600 2" freezer boxes, or 360 3" freezer boxes using standard racks (not included). Freezer racks are available for purchase through Accucold. Dual voltage operation allows this unit to be plugged into 115V or 220V outlets. We include both a NEMA 5-15P and NEMA 6-15P for easy setup. Four pre-installed casters (two locking) allow easy portability as needed. For trusted security that meets facility needs, this unit is equipped with both a mechanical and electronic door lock, with optional facial recognition, fingerprint access, and NFC cards (two included). The side-mounted ergonomic handle can accommodate a padlock if added security is preferred. Accucold's ultra low temperature freezer line includes additional sizes. These models are UL-listed for both the US and Canada and come with an extended 12-year compressor and 5-year parts & labor warranty.
